Sleek Ultimate Contour Kit Review !

Hey Dolls!

So I recently bought the sleek ultimate contour kit in fair & I HAD to do a review!

Im in love with this product.
not all of us have cheekbones like Kim Kardashian & sometimes we need to fake it!

the kit is a small 3 section pallete which looks like this:

theres a matte bronzer which is used as the contour and its great! not orange at all & looks really natural.

you also get a pale champagne highlight which has some shimmer but not random specs of glitter like some highlighters!
there is also a blush ( my fave part!) its a beautiful corally pink with just the right amount of shimmer! I would buy this blush over any high end blush , its excusite!

heres a photo of what they look like together :

for £10 Its a total bargain!

Rimmel Lasting Finsh 1000 Kisses Lip Tint & Balm Review!

Hello Peoples!

So I nipped into boots today and picked up a few things.
One of them being the Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint & Balm, it was £4.99 but Boots is having a 3 for 2 deal on all rimmel products so this one was free!

I was a bit skeptical about this product as I have tried the Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain and was very dissapointed !

Anyways , what the product is sort of like a pen, thats the lipstain end. and the other end is just a clear lip balm which you apply after the lipstain.

heres what the prouct looks like :

I got the colour 510 Kiss Me and its a natural pink with hints of purple and red - like my natural lip colour with a bit of a kick!

heres what it looks like on:

I have to say it is much better than any other lipstain I have tried ! with the lip balm on top it adds it little sheen and makes your lips feel super soft! :)

I do have to mention that after a few hours it does go a little patchy but with a quick touch up its all fixed !

thanks for reading and hope this helped!

Simple Cheap Ways To Decorate Your Room !

Hey Peoples!

so as its a new month and we are approaching spring I decided to give my room a little va va voom!

redecorating can be costly , but the fact of the matter is you CAN do it on a budget.
little changes go a long way!

so first of all is sprucing up your windowsill , mine used to have family photos and things on but I decided it made my room look cluttered and not very stylish.

I bought this beautiful bird cage from next home for only £15!

It instantly adds a touch of class and it does look very pretty also :)

Another way is candles and candle holders!

I am a self confessed candleholic and love them to death , literally to death , I recon I will one day be involved in a candle related incident !

I bought these 2 cute love heart cut out tealight holders from tesco of all places
they were only £1 each! what a bargin

Heres a picture of my windowsill at night time , sorry for the bad quality but my camera wouldnt pick it up properly!

Or you could go for a more colourful option like these mini lanterns from Asda living , just £3 each !

Lighting is another way to make your room all homely and pretty!
Ive had fairy lights in my room for years and these ones from argos have lasted me 4 years !
I cant remember the actual price but you can buy fairy lights from almost any where and they are very inexpensive!

I have wrapped mine around my curtain rail but you can put them anywhere! around your head board on your bed , storage units , anything!

Another way to spice up your room is some simple wall decorations!

this pretty pink dream catcher was £2.50 from my local market and this cute little love heart velvet display board was £7 from home bargins!

if you have something on your wall youd like to cover up , say a mark or a dent , you dont have to spend lots of dosh to fix it ! I made an old tv wall mount look pretty by adding this little heart from hobby craft , it was only £2 !

Pillows and canvas's instantly add style to your room , these spotty pillows were £5 and the canvas was £10 all from asda living!

SO, there is just a few simple cheap ways to add a bit of je ne se qouis to your room!

hope this helped,

Clip In Hair Extensions VS 3/4 Wig

Hola!

Like many of you , Im always in search for longer, thicker, fuller hair which seems to never be my own!
this has always led me to fake hair & wigs.
Im comparing for you two of my favourate ' fake it to make it ' hair additions :)
This Is My Natural Length :)

Above are the two I am Comparing!

This is my advice and opinion only so dont take it literally as its whatever works for you, although I have done this review as extensions/wigs are very costly and Im hoping this will give you some guidance!

Human Hair Extensions

Now ive always had a love/hate relationship with hair extensions so this review will be a bit varied !
Since the age of 15 I have always veered to hair extensions , they were very popular at the time and almost every girl wore them . My hair was very thin due to damage ( I liked to dye my hair alot ! ) and the extensions gave it the life and length that it needed.
as my hair got healthier and thicker , the extensions started to look like rat tails in my hair , thus not looking natural at all! Also every now again I would get someone telling me they could see the clips , not really a self confidence booster !
Pros:
- You can baisically get any colour of these including funky colours for adding highlights
-adds instant and often natural looking length
-heat resistant
-available in different lengths

Cons:
- In most places , hair extensions are ridiculously over priced , often going £80+
-they wear out in a few months
- can take forever to put in
- taking extra time to hide the clips
-they shed like crazy
-if you have thick hair like me , even a full head of hair extensions can end up looking like rat tails

Heres a few pictures of my 18 inch jet black extensions from Ebay :

3/4 Wig

So next is the relativley new trend of the 3/4 wig, celebs like cheryl cole and Charlotte lettia from Geordie shore are fans of this super easy hair accessory!

I purchased this at clothes show live and I have to say , im in love!
I got colour matched at the stand and it matched almost perfectly! unfortunatley I recently dyed my hair jet black so the colour doesnt match anymore :(

what this baisically is a wig , with the grip sliders securing tightly in place at the front and back of your head.
the wig comes up to just behind the ears so you still have the hair around your face to syle freely.
The rest of your hair you can either tuck into the hairpiece or leave it hanging out (I personally think it looks more natural this way)
The brand is Wonder Weave and it cost £34.99

the hair is synthetic meaning you cant apply heat to it. I thought this may pose a problem but it was actually a bonus. as I wear my hair curly/wavy all the time and the wig was a natural wave so it literally took 2 mins on a morning for my to do my hair , just clip it on and off i go!

Pros:
-super quick
-super easy
-relativley cheap
-perfect colour match
-natural wave
-perfect volume and length

Cons:
- synthetic hair

Heres a few pictures of me wearing it & the box it came in :)

THE VERDICT!

Overall , for price , simplicity and the look , ive definatley been converted to the 3/4 wig !

I hope this had helped you deciding what to splurge on for the dream of long hair :)
